  • Lifton 850 Pivot block repair

    Hi to All,
Having just spent the best part of a fortnight pulling my hair out (not that there was much left of it anyway) I have finally cracked (I hope!!) all the electrical faults on my EBay purchase of a early Lifton 850 dumper cica 2002/3 "in good working order"!! Now on to the next problem. There is obviously excessive wear in the pivot arms so obviously they need replacing. So where to start? Can the pin buckles be removed without removing the operating stand? Any one done this job that would be prepared to share their wisdom. All assistance greatfully received. It surely can`t be as difficult as trying to find the numerous faults multiplied by the bodged wiring that previous owner/owners have created. Well I hope not anyway. I`ve used as a point of reference the parts manual as list on http://www.globalplant.co.uk/pdf/Lif...er%20Parts.pdf
