  • TerraTrack rubber track failures

Guys ... thought I'd post up and say Ive had quite a few failures from these tracks recently on my 8 tonners .. so I'd suggest your shop around. Bit of a sore one at £1k per track .. and had quite a few go with a 'lot' of rubber still on them

This one I got a succesful warranty claim from my local Kubota dealer .. and I have it on good authority that its a TerraTrack branded in Young Plants name the dealer is http://www.youngplant.co.uk/ ... I have dealt with Brian and his father .. for very many years so big thanks to them for the outcome on this one .. Any Scottish plant boys out there ? give these lads a phone. They are big Hyundai and Kubota dealers amongst many other brands of kit

One of my other suppliers http://www.astrakgroup.co.uk/ for the same track have not been so forgiving .. even though the failed track in question was 85 % good and given the amount of business Ive given them .. I'm less than impressed .. moreover .. its highlighting a deficiency with this brand which they seem to think is a premium product .. might be for 3's .. but not 8 tonners .. for them you need Bridgestones all the way .. and YES they are worth paying for and you just read why
Please don't PM me for plant advice.. thanks .. Post in the forum where I will gladly help, as will many of our contributors.. as the info and responses will help everyone else, which is why we exist

If it's got tracks, wheels, t*ts, or an engine, at some point it's gonna give you trouble!!
