  • Help me Identify this machine please.

I bought this machine and it isn't what it is labelled as in the picture, I have searched the web looking for a machine that may look alike but have had no luck.

I believe that the original colour is a cream colour, but it doesn't matter what colour it is I need information on a machine that may look alike as then I can further Identify the machine that I have bought as it has come to my knowledge that it is't intact what it is labelled as and is in fact a botched job of selling it on to the unlucky person like myself.

Any help would be much appreciated as I am really in the dark as to what this thing actually is.

    - This may be the wrong forum category to post about this in, so I am sorry if it is the wrong place, as I am a new person to the forum in aid to find the initial brand of my digger I joined this forum in aid of finding it.

    Much appreciated.

Early baby Zettelmayer ??? although I think they only had one crowd link/ram set ups ....
small Schaeff, Hannomag/Henschell or even a small Hatra .... arms look right-ish for that, but never seen one that small ??

If it's got tracks, wheels, t*ts, or an engine, at some point it's gonna give you trouble!!

Thanks for your input I will have a look through the web just interested to see if anyone ca put a name to the machine because I believe it may be a custom job made to catch somebody out, like it did me.

I can provide the link to the sale, however you may not be able to see it because it has ended and it was a classified add. But you can try.

We had contact with a Schaeffer specialist or what have you and he said that is isn't a schaeffer. IT is a botched job, there is some dodge engine that doesn't even link up properly with the drive shafts etc. We have been well and truly had with this one. But we are just trying to identify the digger its self so we know what we actually have because there isn't any manufacture plates on it or anything that could give any information towards what this machine is.

Here have a look at the link.

as a classified listing the seller may well have 'certain' obligations to fulfill, with regards to 'fit for purpose' ...... however ..... he has zero feedback as a seller and a very short ebay membership

Did you view the m/c before buying it?

have to say from the pix it looks pretty legit/proper .... aside from the sheet of ply for a rad grille
doesn't look to have done a lot either?

                  what exactly are the issues?

I take it the forks nor sweeper fit it ?

If it's not an impertinent Q ..... what did it cost you ..... if you had a bargain I'd be tempted to sort the issues .... and move on, depending of course on just what 'the issues' are

it does look pretty decent in those pix though ..... in the metal may of course be another matter !!

It looks Russian to me. They have a tractor that looks similar.

From the ad I think it said it was sold as 'spares and repair'- surely that was a clue to buyer that it wasn't functional !

My son has put this post up to try and ascertain what make of machine this is.

We gave £4,450 for all the bits in the listing. We don't have the capability or time to fix it, I am sure plenty of people do. If someone is interested in taking it off our hands, then feel free to come and have a look, we may take something else as payment if required, like a tractor or something we could use the farm.

I am not questioning how it was represented, we jumped right in and sent a truck to collect it, if I say over the phone " I will have it" then the deal is done! I am very aware I have bought a plumb, just want to pay to fix it or off load it, but for the life of me I cant match it to anything on the internet, which would allow me to get the ball rolling on costing repairs.

I was told by the seller, it was his fathers, we cant get it to start, possibly fuel pump, but in reality it is far from just a fuel pump !

I'm wondering if its a pre production machine that never made it to final build?
