  • JCB 8014 pins and bushes

    Hi
I would like to replace the bucket bushes and pins(230x 25mm) and the tipping link bushes and pins (230x 30mm) as well as the bushes and pin at the top of the ram on the dipper. I am ok on the bucket pins and plastic bushes but a bit confused as to the bushing arrangement needed for the tipping links and top of ram. I have looked at diagrams but cannot see an exploded view for these on websites etc = can anyone help to describe please as an idiots guide for me? Also are the pins for the links and ram the same diameter and length?

    Many thanks in advance

    Mike

Simple option would be to phone someone like http://www.digbits.co.uk/ .. just tell them the machine type and year and what bits you want ... also other companies such as http://astrakgroup.co.uk/ who I use quite a bit .. have a hunt about though sometimes the main dealers can be quite competitive
Please don't PM me for plant advice.. thanks .. Post in the forum where I will gladly help, as will many of our contributors.. as the info and responses will help everyone else, which is why we exist

This finished a few day's ago, asking £200, didn't sell, you could get in touch see if he wants a deal.

thanks for that heads up 2414 ginger, I will have a go at contacting tomorrow although the seller ended the auction so could be sold privately- I will find out thanks. Trouble is when I have contacted suppliers they ask for a serial number and I only have 0772184 stamped on the front which doesn't seem to resonate with the suppliers. Surely these pins and bushes are universal for 801.4's??

It's Jake ....... so you'd not want to bet any money on it
If it's got tracks, wheels, t*ts, or an engine, at some point it's gonna give you trouble!!
