12 inch bucket

been cutting through clay and what a pain, 90% of time had to jump out with spade to get the clay out of bucket- any tips please?

Don't dig in so deep, try taking just a couple of inches depth at a time, it will tend to crumble up a bit then, and not stick so much. IMHO
