Sorted that solenoid was just a loose connector

    MAIN ISSUE RESOLVED!!!!!

    Recap of Symptoms
    • Using two drive levers causing stall
    • Dead ending any two services causes stall
    • Engaging breaker pipe caused stall.
    • Difficult to start after stall (this only started recently)
    • No smoke from exhaust.

    Steps Taken
    • Set main relief valves to the factory setting (185 bar)
    • Replaced fuel line from tank
    • Replaced all filters (fuel, oil and hydraulic)
    • Ran engine from jerry can, same symptoms

    Fix
    • Adjusted Governor out by a full turn

The difficult to start after the stall seemed to be the symptom that pointed to the governor, see image to see what I adjusted.

Now when I engage the breaker for example, the engine is obviously under load but handles it with some additional black smoke from exhaust, before there was no smoke.

Thanks to all for your patience and help, hopefully one day I can repay the favor!

If it's got tracks, wheels, t*ts, or an engine, at some point it's gonna give you trouble!!

Tracking is perfect druid...everything is working really well now. Amazing something so 'simple' ! could have such an impact.
I think it must have just been very slightly out but enough to just not give enough fuel.
Thanks a lot for your help on this one...I've learned loads!!

One I'll certainly remember for future reference .... and so difficult to pinpoint, with such a wide ranging spectrum of effects ....... very pleased for you, that it's cured
