    As @ 11-12-12 UK prices

    Seeing as I was at the scrappies today ... prices per tonne I got were

    Lead Batteries £340.00
    mixed scrap iron £170.00
    stainless £750.00
    copper £3750.00
    Mixed Aluminium £650.00
    Jeesus I wish I had more copper

    Up I have the chassis of a railway carriage to go in and a diahatsu terios so I am going to fire them and all my other scrap into a bale trailer and run it all in with the tractor in one big load! Ready for Xmas!

    I use this site as a guide before I go in!

          There was somewhere around £5.6 million worth of metal scrapped last year. That's mental!

            Its getting quite lucrative for thieves .. anyone know when the scottish scrappies are stopping paying cash ?
