    About Our Client

    STS are a family business that are currently experiencing rapid growth. They have some exciting business plans over the next few years. STS are specialist suppliers of tiling materials and equipment to both the retail and construction sector.
    Job Description

    The role of the Business Development Manager will be to drive forward sales within the Construction sector. STS currently have a wide variety of customers that are largely centered around the retail / distribution sector. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the growth of the Construction sector for the business, which is a relatively new market for them.
    The Business Development Manager will define and implement the sales strategy, in order to drive froward sales on a National basis to trade customers. You will be tasked with growing the business by developing new relationships within the major Housebuilders as well as National Contractors. You will also focus on developing the specification route to market, through building relationships with Architects and Specifiers, as well as performing CPD's.
    This is a fantastic opportunity for the business to diversify their customer base, which will lead to bigger opportunities in the future for the right individual.
    The Successful Applicant

    The ideal Business Development Manager will have experience with the following:
    • A proven track record of winning new business within the construction sector.
    • Have an active contact list with major housebuilders and contractors.
    • Have a strong understatanding of specification sales through developing business through Architects and Specifiers/
    • Be eager to join a growing family business.
    • Be based within commutable distance to Leeds to visit the office regularly.
    • A natural new business hunter that has the drive and determination to launch a new market sector for the business.
    • A self starter that wants to build their career within a growing organisation.
    • Someone that is able to work autonomously, setting their own sales targets inline with the companies ambitious growth plans.
