I was reading a thread by V8 Druid tonight and there was an emoji used like this one ... but it showed up as a broken link/pic due to Https.. this is because not all emojis are stored on the server some have external links elsewhere, which throws up the mixed content issue I menetioned earlier. I use an ad blocker on my browser and when I clicked on the ad blocker and selected 'trust this site' (Plant and Construction) the emojis came back ok as working pics bit it still causes the padlock to turn from green to yellow

for several months Muz some of the emojis were showing in the menu as broken links and it wasn't the same ones from week to week .... I use adblocker too .... only way I can get Photobucket to load .... they have so much crap that their page very often can't load because it can't outsmart / beat the ads

That was because some of the links to emojis were to sites that no longer existed, and owing to my day job .. I hadnt got round to fixing .. not an issue with https
