Question skiploader: opinions on gannon box blade, efficiency performance

hello, on the net I saw that a backhoe tractor (caterpillar, John Deeere, CASE) was transformed by attaching a tool to the rear of the tow that I believe is called box blade or gannon box blade, I believe it can be hooked to tractors to trace the paths and repair dirt roads, what do you think of this tool is really useful and effective and efficient or is it preferable to use a classic mechanical shovel, let me know thanks
