  • How can I educate myself on groundwork ?

I'm working as a ground worker and tbh I'm a bit out of my depth

I'm learning on the job and I'm grateful they given me a chance but a lot of it goes over my head

I can't go to college but I would like to educate myself on it but I'm not sure where to start?

Can anyone maybe recommended some decent books to read or videos to watch to give me some advice?

    Thanks

First port of call is the Operators Manual - it's wealth of information.
What's more, it only has info on one machine so you know what ever you read is relevant to what you'll have your hands on.

      Thanks gecko

im not even in the digger though, is there any way I mould learn more about the work that’s being done?

maybe stuff like the measurements? Services? What tools are used for what etc?

maybe that’s just something you’ pick up along the way but I could do with expanding my knowledge a bit more
