Was watching this with one eye tonight and who ever decided it was a good idea to let these idiots knock a paper mill or stadium need to be locked up as do the staff and machine operators of the companies..........................

I tried to watch it, but got a message that it's intended audience is for UK viewers only, thus I can only dream of the proper bloody idiots. I trust that I will have my fair share this afternoon whilst I go out to finish up some Christmas shopping.

Thanks for the link Stock. Yep, there certainly are some proper bloddy idiots over here. One of my friends owns National Wrecking, and I have told him the next time they do an implosion, I'd like to watch. Things are slow right now and most of their work is in the Chicago city limits, thus there are restrictions on implosions. Instead, they wreck a high rise from the top down. I will admit, I have seem some of these controled demo companies, and thay all seem too intent on being the next big reality TV stars then they seem to be on safety. Cowboys and hotdogs, thats all they are.

They picked a good spot to stand to let the charge go, next to the powerlines .. Never mind , I guess they will try a bit harder to get it right next time .

Yeah they've tried imploding two buildings in Winnipeg about a half-hour north of here and neither of them went well.

It took months to bring down the rest of the Ogilvie Flour mills buildings and probably up to a year to clean it up.
