  • Ec14 dozer blade not moving properly

Hi , older ec14 (2002) . Lever for dozer blade has been getting more stiff to use lately. I've had the steel floor plate up and washed / poked all the muck out of the way where the cable joins the valve.
Working better now ,powering up , but doesnt power down . It just seems to drop to ground level due to gravity.
Any advice on where to look next for a solution ?
    Thanks Mike

Be leaking seals either in the ram or the orbital valve in the centre of the machine
Please don't PM me for plant advice.. thanks .. Post in the forum where I will gladly help, as will many of our contributors.. as the info and responses will help everyone else, which is why we exist

Presume I can check it's getting pressure to the ram by slacking off a pipe fitting on the ram and pressuring that pipe ?

It's got worse... not moving at all. But if I leave it overnight the blade is on the floor. If I push the bucket down and tip the machine up , with blade at the opposite end , the blade goes up.. let the machine down and off I can go..
lever is very stiff.... could the valve be stuck ?
        cheers Mike
