4 off - £579.80 plus FAT from PB battery Solutions, Wigan. Best price and the guy, Paul Byrne, knows his stuff. Recommended

These 12volt batteries are identical internally to the T105 batteries which are 6volt....same thickness of lead plates etc, just wired for 12v.

      Electrical Schematic

This will be the very basic electrical layout of the conversion. Note: there is no DC controller. The mower has a hydrostatic drive which is powered by a pulley from the engine. The cutting decks are powered by the same driveshaft as it has a double pulley so, when the cutters are required, a lever pulls the drivebelt into contact with the drive pulley and the drive is transmitted to the cutter deck - all at constant speed, so no need for a speed controller. Added to that, these mowers have 5 forward speeds and reverse which is more than adequate for speed control.

            you're right!

A previous contractor charged £85.00 every other week and made a right mess of it - his total for that partial summer was £600 odd.

Since we've done it it costs £160 per year in fuel.

The conversion will cost just shy of £1200, so that's 2 years of contractor fees or 7/8 years of fuel.......then it'll be free.....then I'll die...............then the mower will be on EBay for peanuts......
